10/24/22 Students were rewarded with a pizza party if they had less than 2 punches on their Term 1 Hall Pass! Great job guys!

10/24/22Anyone interested in trying out for the junior high baseball team can sign up for tryouts in the main office.
Tryouts - November 7, 2022 - Students will meet in Coach Wilson’s Room after school and should be picked up at 4:45 at the baseball field.
Students will need a current physical and parental permission form in order to tryout.

10/19/22 Every year a very special event comes around - the Day of Unity, or Unity Day, as it is commonly called, which is celebrated on October 19 this year. This is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, also celebrated in October. Multiple anti-bullying campaigns - of which Unity Day is one of them, are organized during this period. The key message of this month, and this day, is to unite for kindness, courage and inclusion, to prevent students from being bullied.
Students and staff at PJHS were asked to wear Blue to show their support and solidarity for Bullying Awareness and Prevention. They were also provided the opportunity to take the Anti-Bullying Pledge at break. Thank you to Mrs. Cruse, our school counselor, and Mrs. Cooper, our librarian, for organizing this day!

10/17/022 Pontotoc Junior High PTO is happy to announce the date of this year's K-8 beauty review. Forms were delivered to PES and DTC this morning. PMS and PJHS students can pick up forms in the front office of their school. The deadline to enter is October 31st.

10/12/22 October is known as Communicate with your Kids Month. This month promotes and spreads awareness about the importance of communicating with your children. It is important to nurture children’s communication skills so they are capable of expressing themselves clearly and confidently in all aspects and areas of their life. By helping develop good communication skills in a child from their youth, as a parent, you are equipping them straight away with the skills to build a successful future.
Did you know that children who feel comfortable talking to their parents about everyday things are likely to be more open when harder things come up?
