(9.23) Alaina Smith and Hanna Reyes Corral represented our school well at the Toyota “Driving Possibilities” event held yesterday at the Toyota MS Experience Center. Our school is proud to be a part of this excellent opportunity for the Pontotoc City School District. (9.23) Students in Mrs. Moore’s room played Pirate Treasure - a board game that allows students to practice determining the meaning of a word using context clues. The winners who found treasure got a prize!

(9.18) Students in Mrs. Franks class engaged in a cooperative learning strategy today in class called “Stand Up, Hand Up, Pair Up” to reinforce their academic vocabulary. The strategy involves students standing up, putting their hand up and quickly finding a partner with whom to share or discuss.

(9.18) Coach Clayton's class worked on a team building exercise. They had to work together to determine how they could use all the blocks in one build without making the building fall.

(9.18) Mrs. Holmes' 7th grade science students have been studying earth science, specifically rocks and minerals. Earlier this week, students did a types of rocks lab where they got to investigate rocks using their notes and textbook to prove their claims.

(9.5) Our Gold Band Drum Line is enjoying the weather on this lovely Thursday as they prepare for their future under the Friday Night Lights! 💛🖤
