(3.28) Students in Mrs. Tutor’s class broke down questions from the past benchmark of standard 8.2. The students got to work together in groups before becoming “teachers” to their classmates.

(3.28) All orders placed during the PJH book fair went into a drawing for a Bluetooth Smart Watch. Our winner was Jay Harris-Green! Congratulations!

(3.25) Our eighth grade students were rewarded with an incentive day for meeting 2 out of their 3 goals on their final benchmark. Students were given the choice to play board games/video games, watch a movie, or play basketball during their Science, Math, and English periods. We had about 115 students who were able to participate in the incentive! They all had a really fun day! :)

(3.21) This week in 8th grade ELA they have been focusing on finding evidence to support claims. Yesterday in class students played Clue, Jenga, and a matching game to practice their evidence finding skills!

(3.20) Term 3 Report Cards are going home with students today.
