We want to congratulate our 2021 PJHS Paraprofessional and Nutritional Provider of the year! These two ladies take amazing care of our students on a daily basis and we cannot thank them enough!!

Mrs. Sloan's class had a great visit to the library for some "Grinchmas" activities! Mrs. Cooper read, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", and then students picked a coloring sheet to go along with the book.

Our Gold and Silver Bands did a great job at their last concert. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our growing band program.

Last week Mrs. Cruse, our school counselor, went into history classes to discuss high school graduation options with 8th-grade students. The information presented will be posted to the PJH Counseling Canvas Page. We hope that students and parents can have meaningful conversations about their future plans and goals.

Mississippi Author, Patricia Neely-Dorsey, visited with our 7th and 8th Grade English students today to share her poems that showcase the state of Mississippi. Her passion for our state was evident! Through her writing, she seeks to inspire a love of reading and Mississippi in students across our state. As a continuation of this lesson, students are writing acrostic poems about Pontotoc where they will detail things that they love about their hometown.

Enjoying the fall weather…math class outside!

Pontotoc Junior High will be hosting the annual talent show on December 21, 2021. Students who are interested in participating should sign up in the office on November 29-30.
