Mrs. Ruth’s Art I class has been learning about the color wheel. Their latest project was to make 10 colors out of the 3 given to them (red, blue, and yellow). They will use these color swatches to make their own color wheels next week.

Come out and support your school with the PJHS book fair the week of January 31st- February 4th. Students will have multiple opportunities to shop! You can also sign up for an ewallet online or shop online at the link above!

Several students auditioned and made the Delta State Middle School Band, congratulations!!

Last Friday was SRO Appreciation Day for Officer Shad Long. Thank you for all you do for our students and staff!

All warrior recognition names for the second nine weeks were submitted, and a grand prize winner was chosen! Adam Rodgers was the winner!

It came down to Coach Gory’s Kicking Goats and the staff for the championship game. The staff came out on top in the 2021 PJH Kickball Tournament!!

This year PJHS students came together for a Community Service Project. By selling turkey feathers, our students raised enough money to adopt 9 angels from the Angel Tree. Our yearbook staff went and shopped for these angels this week. We loved seeing our students come together for such a great cause.

Mrs. Anderson’s 8th-grade science classes modeled the rock cycle using Starburst candy. Students had fun with this experiment!!
