(11/13) All of the contestants did an amazing job Friday night. Congratulations to all the contestants and winners!

(10/26) Mrs. Caldwell’s classes completed their Architecture Unit last week. Students first researched different architectural styles. They then practiced with legos, before drawing and designing their chosen home using measurement and creative details.

(10/26) We want to thank all of our teachers and students who participated in our Red Ribbon Week Door Contest! Students were asked to design their doors with either an anti- drug or bullying message. They did a great job and we saw several original designs this year.

(10/26) Members of the PJHS Student Council had a great morning helping spread cheer to younger students during today’s County Wide Harvest Walk.

(10.18) Mrs. Russell and Mrs. Fulghum made math fun in their 8th grade math classes by having students complete an escape room assignment! The puzzles they had to complete involved calculating the volume of spheres, cylinders, and cones. After students solved the puzzles to escape, the first group finished got a key to a treasure chest full of goodies!

(9/13): The PCSD librarians attended the LAMP workshop this week. Kellie McIntyre, author of The Passport Project, spoke of her memoir. Elizabeth Simmons informed librarians of the MAGNOLIA database updates from MDE.

Pontotoc City School District has scheduled a reunification drill with district employees and local community service agencies, including law enforcement. This drill will take place tomorrow, Friday, August 4 during professional development. If you ride by Pontotoc High School, you may see a large presence of law enforcement during this drill. This message is being sent out to avoid any concerns that may arise tomorrow.

The 2023/2024 School Supply Lists are now available under Parent Resources.

Creating a New Active Parent Account:
1. Create an Account with your own username and password.
2. Attach your student(s) under the settings icon.
3. Check your email for a message verifying that you are the legal guardian/parent. (Verification may take 24 hours.)
4. Choose Student Registration from the dropdown menu.
5. Select your student.
6. Scroll down and begin 2023-2024 Pontotoc City School District Online Registration.

A new Active Parent account should only be created if your student(s) were new to the district during the 2022-2023 school year.
