(2/13) Our 8th Grade ELA classes are competing in March Madness with pop quizzes on standards leading up to Benchmark #3. Students are working for prizes each week. Points are scored in the "game" based on an average of the test scores for all team members. Each team designed their own team name and jersey - we love to see their creativity!

(2/10) Mrs. Franks Oral Communications classes have just wrapped up their storybook presentation unit. This past week, students carefully selected a book, analyzed it, and practiced their reading skills in front of the class. Today, they had the opportunity to take their classroom experience to PES, where they read their books to several 1st and Kindergarten classrooms. The smiles and excitement were contagious as our students shared their stories with the younger ones! It was clear that our students loved the experience just as much - if not more - than the elementary students. A huge thank you to PES for allowing us to collaborate and make this unit such a memorable experience for our students.

(02/07) PJH is blessed with the best Counselor. We can't thank Kelsie Cruse enough for all the things she does for our staff and students at PJH. Thank you Mrs. Cruse for all the work you put in at our school.

(2/07) RV Brown hosted an empowering all-boys assembly where students engaged in meaningful discussions about the importance of attitude, respect, leadership, and developing a game plan for success in life. It was an inspiring session, encouraging everyone to think big and lead with purpose. Let's keep striving for greatness!

(2/07) 🎉🏀 State Championship Celebration! 🏀🎉 What an incredible achievement for our school community! Today, we honored our Lady Warrior Junior High Basketball Team and Coach Hatcher for their hard work, dedication, and unmatched spirit that led them to win the State Championship! 🏆 This victory is not just about the trophy—it’s about the countless hours of practice, teamwork, and the belief that they could achieve greatness together. A HUGE thank you to Coach Hatcher for leading with passion, discipline, and heart, both inside the classroom and on the court! We couldn’t be prouder of these student-athletes, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for each one of them.

(1/30) The PHS Career Coaches recently visited Mrs. Holladay's Cyber Foundations II classes. They shared a wealth of information with students about how they function as liaisons to connect students with local businesses and industry as well as how they aid students in developing the professional skills needed to be successful in the career path of their choice. Students were excited to learn about all the opportunities Mrs. Dale and Mr. Westbrooks will make available to them when they enter high school next year.
